Celebrates Nearly Four Years of Sobriety
From Spinner.com
|
|
It's
no secret that the '70s were the height of sex, drugs
and rock 'n' roll. As the guitarist for Kiss, 'Space'
Ace Frehley had no problem partaking in the perks that
came with his stature during that decade of decadence
-- as he told Spinner last year, "For a long time
I was missing in action."

ACE
FREHLEY POSTPONES JAPAN DATE AND AUSTRALIAN TOUR UNTIL
2010
|
Legendary
KISS guitarist Ace Frehley announced today he has postponed
his Australian tour until 2010. Due to overwhelming demand,
Frehley has decided to reward the response with additional
dates and an expanded set list, including some rarities,
for his fan base. The Spaceman promises the shows will
be worth the wait. “I made Anomaly for my fans, and
the response has been incredible,” Frehley says. “I’ve
never toured Australia as a solo artist, and I want to
pull out all the stops.” Frehley is currently considering
adding his biggest Australian KISS hit “Talk To Me”,
as well as the never performed “Dark Light” (from
KISS’ “Music From The Elder”) to his set. Ace also
plans to reschedule his Japan dates after Anomaly has
been released there.

Frehley in Cobo Hall... one last time....
|
I had the pleasure of touring Cobo Hall in Detroit one
last time on Saturday night (Sept.19).....
I was filming a documentary called "Let's Go Cobo" about
the history of that arena....
As you all know, this was the birthplace of "KISSteria"
& a very important venue to all the original members
of KISS....And, if you are not aware, Cobo Hall will be
gutted & transformed into a auto showroom in the next
few weeks....The End of an era.......Thanks Cobo for all
the memories.....Ace
P.S. While we were filming inside Cobo, we heard a crash....as
we were driving away.....we saw this.... A cab driver
started the demolition on the Cobo box office early I
guess!!!.....Weird.

| Rolling
Stone Magazine - Ace Frehley: Ready for Solo LP "Anomaly,"
But Not a Kiss Reunion |
Kiss'
original guitarist, Ace Frehley, has primarily focused
on playing live shows since he left the band in 2002,
though no new studio material has surfaced. But that's
soon about to change. September 15th will see the release
of Ace's first solo album in nearly 20 years, Anomaly,
via his own label, Bronx Born Records. Produced almost
entirely by Frehley, the album shows why many rock and
metal guitarists list "Space Ace" as a prime six-string
influence, as evidenced by the epic "Genghis Khan" and
a kick ass cover of Sweet's "Fox on the Run." Frehley
recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss the new
album, his ex-bandmates and kicking booze once and for
all.....

| ACE
FREHLEY RELEASES FIRST SOLO ALBUM IN 20 YEARS‘ANOMALY’
on September 15th |
| |
Rocket
Science provides worldwide physical and digital marketing
and distribution LOS
ANGELES - For the first time in nearly 20 years, legendary
guitarist Ace Frehley has emerged to add a new exclamation
point to his celebrated solo career. Scheduled for liftoff
on September 15th, the original KISS guitarist’s fifth
solo album, Anomaly,
will be released on his own Bronx Born Records, with Rocket
Science providing a full label service platform. Frehley,
a long time Gibson artist, will launch his second Gibson
Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul guitar with the musical
instrument giant later this year. His first signature
Gibson guitar (in 1997) was one of the best selling signature
models of all time.
One of the most beloved personalities in rock ‘n’
roll, Frehley’s
the man behind not only KISS’ iconic logo, but the all-time
stadium anthem “New York Groove.” From the thunderous
guitar riffs of the first single “Outer Space” to
his supercharged cover of Sweet’s 1975 classic “Fox
on the Run,” Anomaly
includes several
nods to his distinguished career. The pickup acrobatics
of “Fractured Quantum” and wah-wah scourge of “Genghis
Khan” (featuring backup vocals from Meat Loaf’s daughter
Pearl Aday) are signature Ace.
It should go without
saying, but “this album has some heavy, heavy songs,”
Frehley promises.
Check out the new commercial for Anomaly:

Rocket Science

all record label departmental needs under one roof.
As such, clients are able to use Rocket Science as a scalable

up 1989/1990 Trouble Walkin' Posters and I decided
to get Ace to autograph them so we can get them on the
merch page for you guys.... Check out the pics below....
There's only 30 pieces of each, so act fast.... I
didn't see any more of these posters. This is it!!......
A large number of fans have written to the website requesting
signed Ace 8 X 10 pictures, so we added 50 of each of
two different photos (see below).
Thanks for supporting Ace Frehley & keep tabs on the
website for cool announcements about the release of "Anomaly"........... |

People!!!
How are you?......I'm happy to say that my new album
"Anomaly" is finished! Mixed, mastered...Done!!.........It
clocks in as one full hour of new music.........I'm
waiting for my distribution company to get me solid
release dates that we can decide on. I want "Anomaly"
to be available to you in every store around the world
that sells cds these days (and that number is shrinking).
Digitally, "Anomaly" will be available on
iTunes (with an exclusive bonus, album only track!!).
Believe me, as soon as we decide on the release date.....you'll
be the first to know. But for now, here's the "official"
track listing for "Anomaly"........Talk to
you soon.......
